Our Plan: The CampustoMarket BRIDGE

A Four-Step Plan:

Good, bad, right or wrong we are leveraging our resources, credibility and good will and asking Central Ohio-area campus ministries to sign a three-year “Project Agreement” to create a mentoring bridge that initially and intentionally connects each Central Ohio-bound graduating senior with a Central Ohio MarketMentor team using a Four-Step process:

Step One:

We will establish a “MarketMentor” Institute that will uniformly orient 12-15 marketplace disciple-making mentors who will make a 12 month commitment to invest in one or more seniors entering the Central Ohio market beginning in June 2005. This will be publically rolled out April 30 th, 2005 at the OSU Veritas FORUM.

Step Two:

We will establish campus staff “Bridge” partnership agreements beginning in 2005 and establish minimal but clear staff expectations to connect seniors with the Bridge concept.

Step Three:

We will register seniors at (www.missioncolumbus.net/marketlife/register) and follow up with an invitation to our annual senior “LifeWork” planning seminar where upon completion they shall then be matched up with market mentors.

Step Four:

We will evaluate the mentor, student, campus ministry leader experience in the Summer of 2006 and the next two summers thereafter by having a summit of participating market mentors, campus representatives and market protégés.
